1. Will I be charged for the appointment?

There is a £30 fee for our appointments. This payment is to secure your appointment. The £30 appointment fee is required to be made at least 72 hours before to secure your appointment. Your appointment entitles you to a private hour-long consultation while being able to try gowns that would suit your vision. The £30 fee is fully redeemable when you will order your wedding gown made by us.

  1. How much are the dresses?

The dresses start at £1,400 and go up to £3,600. Our bespoke service starts from £3,500 and depends on the style of your gown. If your budget is less than this then email us so we can add you to our database and get in touch when we have a sample sale.

  1. What sizes are your samples?

Our sample sizes available to try a the boutique are UK size 8-14. The sample are here to give you an idea of the style of the dresses as your gown will be made to your size.

  1. What underwear should I wear for the appointment?

We suggest you wear nude underwear for the styling session, and strapless or low back bras if you are thinking of that cut of dress.

  1. If I am early can I come and browse the dresses before my appointment.

We hold our appointments downstairs in our boutique whilst our occasion-wear range is upstairs, so you and your guests are very welcome to have a browse while you wait for your appointment.

  1. Can I use skype/facetime in the appointment to show important family members?

Yes, you are more than welcome to Skype or Facetime during your appointment as we understand that sometimes not everyone can make it to your appointment.

  1. Can I bring friends and family to the styling appointment.

As we are an intimate boutique we welcome you to bring 2 guests to help you with your decision, however unfortunately cannot cater for a larger party. We feel that any more people can often make the process a little confusing as everyone can offer opinions and you can leave the appointment feeling unsure of what was your favourite design.

  1. Payment procedure?

All our orders require a 50% deposit to be paid at the time of the order. The remainder of the purchase price will be payable when your dress arrives at our boutique approximately two or three months before your specified wedding date (2-3 weeks for express service orders).

  1. When are my measurements taken?

We will be taking your measurements (bust, waist and hips) the same time you place your order, unless you prefer for them to be taken at a later date, which can be as late as 7 months before your wedding date.

  1. How late can I order?

If you order with less than 6-7 months to your wedding, then you will be charged an express order fee of 20%. Our express service takes about 4 to 8 weeks plus time for alterations but please do get in touch as we will always try to accommodate you.

  1. What happens during my bridal appointment?

At your appointment you have a stylist helping you make a selection of dresses, you can try on as many as realistic in your appointment. There will be someone helping you in and out of the dresses, and you will be offered styling advice and encouraged to try dresses on your might not have normally considered to ensure you are making the right choice with your dress.

  1. Are the costs of alterations & fittings included?

We do all the alterations in house by our tailor, Giuseppe, therefore the charge is in addition to the dress purchase price. Alterations costs with our in-house tailor range from £150-£250. Please note that this is a guideline and you will be advised if your alterations may step outside this price bracket. We aim to have two alteration appointments with our In-House tailor and yourself, however if you require additional appointments (further than the first complimentary two), each further tailor appointment is then chargeable of an additional £40 that will be joint with the price of your alterations. You are more than welcome to use another alterations company or tailor if you prefer, we can recommend them.

  1. Where will my dress be made?

Your dress is made in Riga, Latvia, where Katya is based and where our studio is.

  1. When will my first fitting be?

Your first fitting is normally around 2 to 3 months before your wedding day. If your gown is being made in our express production this will depend on the time we have to finish your gown.

  1. When can I collect my dress?

You can collect your dress when the alterations are finished which we can schedule in when it is convenient you.

  1. Do I need to bring shoes with me?

You are more than welcome to bring your wedding shoes, or a similar style with you to the styling session, however we do have shoes to try the dresses on with.

  1. I am planning on losing weight before the wedding.

If you are planning on loosing extreme amounts of weight before the wedding, then please advise us and we will take your measurements and start your fittings as late as possible. Please consider though that if you continue to lose weight after the fittings have been done, or if a dramatic size difference happens after your initial measure once the dress is ordered, the cost for all alterations will be higher.

  1. If I want a bespoke dress made what do I do?

The production time is six to eight months and the whole process is split into at least three fittings. The concept of the gown will be worked out during your first appointment with one of our sales assistants. They will attentively record all of the details discussed and pass this information to Katya, who in turn will put all of the bits and pieces together to create the design of your gown. The sketch of the design will be sent to you along with the estimated price and if you are entirely satisfied with both, we can proceed with the production of your gown. During the first fitting we will take your measurements and finalise all of the details regarding your order. On your second fitting, the dress will be half-completed along with accessories (if any), some final adjustments can still be made, ensuring it is a perfect fit. On your third and final fitting, your one of a kind wedding dress is completed and all that is left to do is to make sure that you are completely happy with it. Note that you have an exclusive opportunity of meeting Katya in person during one of your fittings, but an additional charge will apply if you choose a time convenient for you rather than the designer.

The price for a Bespoke bridal gown starts from £3500, the final price will depend on the design, the amount and type of fabrics used as well as such finishing details like lace embellishment and accessories, if present of course.

  1. Do you hold all the dresses on the website in stock?

We hold the current collection in stock, most of the dresses on the site we have a sample of, however they can occasionally be lent to magazines for photo shoots or to one of our stockists. If there are certain styles from our collection you would like to try on, please let us know which ones they are before you come in, so we can make sure the sample is in the boutique.

  1. I am getting married abroad, how will I take my dress with me?

We can pack your dress into a dress bag, so you can carry it on board with you. As we don’t work with structure our gowns pack up quite small, so you won’t have any issues taking it on the plane with you.

  1. What is your refund policy?

We operate a non-refund policy on all our bridal gowns. You can read this in more detail on our Returns Policy page.

  1. Do you allow pictures to be taken in 1st appointment?

I am afraid we have a no photography policy in store as we find that pictures never give justice to our gowns and how they look on you in real life. If you want detail shots of any of our dresses, then the galleries on the website have back and front and detail shots of the dresses.
