FAQS

WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THE APPOINTMENT?

There is a £20 fee for our appointments. This payment is to secure your appointment and it is required to be paid upon booking. Your appointment entitles you to a private hour-long consultation while being able to try gowns that would suit your vision. The £20 fee is fully redeemable against dress purchase.

WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF THE DRESSES?

The dresses start at £1,300 and go up to £3,600. Our bespoke service starts from £3,500 and depends on the style of your gown. If your budget is less than this then email us so we can add you to our database and get in touch when we have a sample sale.

WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR SAMPLES?

Most of ours sample available in size 8, however we do have a selection of styles available is sizes 12-14. The sample are here to give you an idea of the style of the dresses as your gown will be made to your size.

WHAT UNDERWEAR SHOULD I WEAR TO THE APPOINTMENT?

We suggest you wear flesh coloured seamless underwear for the styling session, and strapless or low back bras if you are thinking of that cut of dress.

IF I AM EARLY, CAN I COME & BROWSE THROUGH THE DRESSES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

As we operate on appointment basis back to back and do not have a reception area, we kindly ask that you arrive on time rather than early ... or late :)

CAN I MAKE VIDEO CALLS DURING THE APPOINTMENT TO SHOW MY FAVOURITE GOWNS TO FRIENDS & FAMILY

Yes, you are more than welcome to Skype or Facetime during your appointment as we understand that sometimes not everyone can make it to your appointment.

WHEN ARE MY MEASUREMENTS TAKEN?

We will take your measurements (bust, waist and hips) during your appointment for our records and to advise on the correct size.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR YOUR DRESSES?

We recommend to place an order at least 8 to 10 months before your wedding date - this includes production, transit from our atelier in Riga and alterations. In case you are getting married within less than 8 months, please get in touch as we can offer an express order - subject to a fee.

I AM GETTING MARRIED ABROAD, HOW WILL I TAKE MY DRESS WITH ME?

We can pack your dress into a dress bag, so you can carry it on board with you. As we don’t work with structure our gowns pack up quite small, so you won’t have any issues taking it on the plane with you.

CAN I BRING FRIENDS & FAMILY TO THE STYLING APPOINTMENT?

As we are an intimate boutique we welcome you to bring 3 guests. Often too many people and opinions will make you overwhelmed and confused so make a wise choice of who you bring along.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE?

Full payment is required at time of purchase.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

Your stylist will be helping you make a selection of 5 dresses to start your appointment with, you can try on as many as realistically possible within the allocated time but usually this would be 6-8 dresses. When you book an appointment, you secure a private room for yourself and your guests to make the experience special, private, comfortable and enjoyable. 

ARE THE COST OF ALTERATIONS & FITTINGS INCLUDED?

We offer in-house alterations with Giuseppe who has extensive experience in knowledge in bridal alterations. Alterations cost is in addition to the dress purchase price and can range from £250-400. Please note that this is an estimate and you will be advised if your alterations may step outside this price bracket.  You are more than welcome to use another alterations company or tailor if you prefer.

We also offer Made-to-measure service - £400

If you wish to choose made-to-measure service, we will take all your measurements and your beautiful dress will be made according to your measurements, including skirt length and altered neckline, so you won’t have any additional alteration charges We will invite you for the fitting with half ready dress and will do all necessary adjustments.  

I AM PLANNING ON LOSING WEIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING.

If you are planning on losing weight, you are more than welcome to order a size down however we do not recommend going any smaller as from years of experience we know that weight loss process differs for everyone and you might not lose as much as intended. It is possible to make a dress smaller but almost impossible to make it larger. 

WHAT ARE THE STEPS OF GETTING A BESPOKE GOWN?

The production time is 6-8 months and the whole process is split into at least three fittings. The concept of the gown will be worked out during your first appointment with one of our sales assistants. They will attentively record all of the details discussed and pass this information to Katya, who in turn will put all of the bits and pieces together to create the design of your gown. The sketch of the design will be sent to you along with the estimated price and if you are entirely satisfied with both, we can proceed with the production of your gown. During the first fitting we will take your measurements and finalise all of the details regarding your order. On your second fitting, the dress will be half-completed along with accessories (if any), some final adjustments can still be made, ensuring it is a perfect fit. On your third and final fitting, your one of a kind wedding dress is completed and all that is left to do is to make sure that you are completely happy with it. Note that you have an exclusive opportunity of meeting Katya in person during one of your fittings, but an additional charge will apply if you choose a time convenient for you rather than the designer.

The price for a Bespoke bridal gown starts from £3500, the final price will depend on the design, the amount and type of fabrics used as well as such finishing details like lace embellishment and accessories, if present of course.

WHERE WILL MY DRESS BE MADE?

Your dress is made in Riga, Latvia, where Katya is based and where our production and design studio is.

WHEN WILL MY FIRST FITTING BE?

Your first fitting is normally around 2 to 3 months before your wedding date. If your gown is being made in our express production, your alterations time might be lesser however if done with our in-house tailor, we will ensure completion on time for your big day.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

We operate a non-refund/cancellation/exchange policy on all our products. You can read this in more detail on our Returns Policy page.

DO YOU ALLOW PICTURES TO BE TAKEN DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

We have a no photography policy in store as we find that pictures never give justice to our gowns and how they look on you in real life. However, we allow you to take a short video of your favourite gown.

WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY DRESS?

You will collect your dress during your final fitting. In case you chose to have your alterations done with external/private tailor, you can collect your dress Tuesday to Friday.

DO I NEED TO BRING SHOES WITH ME?

You are more than welcome to bring your wedding shoes, or a similar style with you to the styling session, however we do have shoes to try the dresses on with.
